i think except for martial arts, pole dancing seems to be the best exercise for catfights and submission

upper body strength, grip, core, flexibility, ab muscle, thigh, muscle endurance..
In a similar sense, climbing is also good.
Pole Dancer gonna smash a woman who exercises body-building weight training.
What do you think?

Combinations of different workouts are needed.  But most important is flexibility, speed, agility and endurance.  Aerobics provide all those those elements.

I agree with jess.  a combination of weight training, cardio and wrestling/boxing technique are the best preparation for catfights or any other kind of physical contact contest.........obviously easier said than done.

A combo of all without a doubt but especially stretching, you want and need to be agile to reduce injury risk like torn muscle ,

And make sure to build your weakest areas, core back and arms and strength

Celtwrestle

Try high reps fast pace in bench press; useful for building that explosive energy needed to push an opponent off if they mount. Same with squats - helps build harder legs for attack. Don't forget neck exercises too; a strong neck is a great asset in wrestling/catfighting.'
Oh, and the abs - toughen them so you can endure any fists to the stomach.
