Looking for a story - sort of female "Equalizer"

Story appeared here within last 5 years.  Believe it to be about 2 - 3 years ago,  It was about a woman who was sort of a private detective/female "equalizer" but she would work for money.  There were several chapters.  One in particular had her going to a hotel and fighting.  Wish I had more details like a name or description.  Thanks to anyone who can help.
