Does any one else around here miss the fact that JW/Jaguar are out of business, retired and gone?

Who has a favorite video, or fighter, from their many years of productions?

And my biggest question, what producer has stepped up to take their place? I'd call their niche "face-sitting domination". Who makes the best "face-sitting domination" matches today?.

An excellent question, as usual, Bruce. I, for one, sure do miss them both. I think you mean Joan Wise Productions, though.  They where both excellent companies with high quality videos. All of their old stuff is still available on their respective web sites to my knowledge. My favourite wrestlers where Treena Collins and Shelly Berg. I have not seen Treena for many years but Shelly is still active and she looks great . She must be almost 50 years old by now. I have several videos from those companies but the  one that I remember is a three fall match between Treena Collins and Traci Williams that went three falls with Treena winning it. Who replaced them? Well, APL and Foxycombat come to mind although I still think the originals where better. Another company I miss is California Supreme and a sister company which I can't remember the name. It may have been Action productions but not sure.

I really liked the Jaguar fights.  They were some of the first video fights I ever saw.  Some were staged but others seemed to be real wrestling and fighting.  Some fo the hairpulling looked pretty brutal.  Oh, and the fighters were gorgeous... that always helps lol.

Judging from some of the pics I've seen there may have been a few JW matches that would've appealed to my tastes and I actually purchased a JV tape which was slightly above average.  That being said, for the most part, I couldn't stand JW because I absolutely hate FaceSit matches.  Fans of Facesitting matches must be seriously jonesing for JW but since I can't stand that particular genre I'm probably not a great source for recommending who has stepped up uhh...into the slot- so to speak.  I didn't know they'd bitten the dust. Oh well - Au Revoir...
