So as I commute, I would love to listen to some audio books that have a catfight as part of the plot. I am think more along the lines of From Russia With Love than a JT Edsen novel.

So, does anyone know of any god, best selling novels that include a catfight as part of the story?

Thanks

Tale of Two Cities had a catfight at the end of the book, if I remember correctly from my college days.

Harry Potter and the Secret of chambers has one short catfight somewhere in the middle of the book :) With "Emma Watson"/Hermione Granger involved :)

Not sure the books would ever be refered to as 'main stream' but J T Edson wrote dozens of westerns and a fairly high percentage of them contained pretty good catfights.

Not sure they are mainstream or on tape, but the Gor series has a fair number of catfights.  I think there are a few in the Conan Novels as well.
I love catfights and chatting.  Look me up on trillian at ljack66   (I think... just figuring Trillian out)   https://www.deviantart.com/ljack66

Was it in the movie? Did it have a winner and loser? I've never watched a Harry Potter movie, but I might make an exception if it showed Emma Watson in a catfight.

Excellent list so far.  Here's one to add:

J. D. Robb - Treachery In Death

This is one of a series of police mystery novels written by Nora Roberts under the "J. D. Robb" pseudonym.  The main character is Eve Dallas, on the New York City police force about 50 years in the future.  In this particular story (page 369) Eve confronts another female officer to arrest her, and the woman slips out of her shoes in response to Eve's holding a gun.  You guessed it - down goes the gun and ...

There's a brief bar catfight at the beginning (Chapter One) of Agatha Christie's "The Pale Horse".

Unfortunately it's ommitted from both the TV adaptations. The book itself was published in 1961.
