Help with chat room - Script problems

Most of the time when log into the chat room, I get this message.

"A script in this movie is causing Adobe Flash Player to run slowly. If it continues to run, your computer may become unresponsive. Do you want to abort the script?"

Most of the time, whether I click OK or Cancel, I can't post in the room. I can't send or receive private messages. It crops up whether I use Chrome, Firefox or Edge. And sometimes, for no rhyme or reason, everything loads properly.

I'm on Windows 10. Flash is up to date. Could it be one of the ads causing this (I know different ads appear during different sessions)?

Has anyone else had this problem and found a fix?

That has been an ongoing problem for a long time and has happened to most if not all of us from time to time. No matter what OS or browser is being used.
