Uploading pics

Hi everyone,
Just thought I'd pop a quick question - does anyone know if it is possible to upload any more pics to your profile even though the site tells me I've reached the maximum limit? I've seen some members on fcf who have a lot of pics (often within folders) and wondered what their method was?

I'd be v. grateful for any help!

I think that is the limit Leanna, even if they have folders.

Hi Leanna,

I may get in trouble for saying this because we shouldn't start a trend, but a while ago I had problems login in my profile (couldn't login in fact) and was unable to reach any moderator for help.  So, just to be able to send a message, I created a "back up" profile and used it to send my message for assistance.  Once the problem was resolved and I was able to login my profile, I decided to keep my back-up profile and I used it to double the number of pics that I post. 

To be open and transparent, my profile name is "wrstlvr" and by back up is simply "wrstlvr_backup".  I was regularly updating my pics (several time a week) for quite a while and added captions and stories, but again, ran out of space and had to delete some nice pics to make room for new ones.  I found a solution that works well for me.  I decided to create some blogs where I am free to do pretty much what I want and have unlimited space.  I provide the  links these blogs in my profile so anyone can have a look anytime.  I use Google's "Blogger".  Very easy to get started.  If however, you want to limit who sees your pics (which is the case in the password-protected FCF), you can modify the blog so only those who you accept can view your pics.  These days, I've slowed down in updating my profile pics and am spending more time updating my blog.
