I'm happy for you but, come on, you've got to share a little more detail!  We're dying of curiosity out here.  Did any of the advice people gave you help?

Ok folks, mini summary (without divulging her identity or any distinguishing characteristics)
We started with dinner...me, my boyfriend (the reason you are graced with my presence in this forum to begin with), her, and her hubby. After dinner we went to their home and had some drinks (mostly for my benefit, I was nervous as hell) and chatted for a bit to break the ice. Then us girls had to get down to business. The hubby wanted us to start with arm wrestling (no one else really cared, so we humored him)...one round with each arm. I won the right arm, finding out that we are very evenly matched along the way. Then she won the left arm...uh oh a tie! Then on to the main event....
3 rounds, there were rules about points but we let the boys keep track of that...one less thing for us to think about. The first round, I won with a body pin and breast smother. After a bit of a break we moved on to round 2, which she kicked my ass in. She mercilessly pinned me until I had nothing left to fight back with and was forced into a submission. I don't remember all of the rules but I do remember that a submission was worth more points than a 10 count pin....so she was ahead. Crap! It was my first match and I needed to prove to myself and my guy that I could do this.....I....could....not....lose! With that thought in mind going in to the 3rd and final round I only had one goal, make her submit. The hubby said go, I somehow managed to knock her down and get a hold over her back bringing her head to my side and then cinching the deal with a leg scissor to the stomach. The hubby urged her, "don't give up!" she was done though "I give up!!" Boom! The newbie cupcake won! Woo hoooooo!

congrats on your win. thank you for clueing us in. arm wrestling is damn hot as a start in my opinion. in addition i would like to have a long stare down prior to a test of strength and the actual fight. but for a first time it was great to read your narration.
