First off I want to thank everyone who contributed to the last discussion :)  since we talked about headlocks last time... I thought we could talk about what could be the favorite hold of a lot of people around here... the headscissors!  What tips do you all have to make the most out of a headscissors?  what are some of your favorite headscissor positions too?

LuvFemFights

My.fave is the frontal with.single arm bar.....leaving your opponents upper torso vulnerable to further attack.   Once again......be happy to demonstrate:)
Love fem/fem and mixed competition!

Well ya know my fave type of headscissors is the reverse standing headscissors. I call it my Ami Clamp lol. I know clever name right?? I love it though cause ya get them on their knees in front of ya and bend them backwards then lock in ya scissors. Puts pressure on the back, its hard to get out of, ya can control their arms easily from there and makes it super hard to breathe and lets ya really work their head hard. Course its totally patented so if ya use it ya gotta send me $50 LOL

personally as far as headscissors go... i don't really have a favorite position or anything... it's just whatever position i can get on at the time!  but you basically just need to get a good firm grip... hopefully higher on your thighs than lower... just more power there... and you just lock your ankles and pump your legs on their head ;)  it's always helpful to practice squeezing things too... whatever you can get your hands on that's head shaped :) ;))

Great advice Lauren!!!! I'm sure those amazing thighs of yours could do LOTS of damage!!!! Oh one thing more I'd add too is like if ya can, don't squeeze as hard as ya can right away. Kinda squeeze a lil more at intervals. That way ya don't tire ya legs out too quick. I do the same thing with bodyscissors only I wait till they breathe out and tighten up a bit more kinda like a constrictor snake. Keeps them from breathing in much.

Definitely agree with Lauren about getting your opponent on your thighs. More mass and more squeezing. Locking ankles is a must as well.

All good answers. They're one of my favs. Reverse and standing esp. Standing probably wont get you a submission unless your opponent is really tired, but theres something graceful about it. Its a nice visual, you standing tall, your opponent on her hands and knees. ;)

Headscissors are also my favorites.  I agree with the humiliating part of the standing headscissor....it's something you just want to go out of it.  Besides i don't have any preference between front or reverse or figure four...I like them all :)
