Wife wont watch you box because she is afraid you will get hurt??

When i was married, my wife knew of my boxing with a friend.  She would not watch us as she always claimed she was afraid of me getting hurt.
Do you feel that is what she really meant or was did she really not think I would win???  What is your opinion if you told someone you loved that you would not watch them fight???
