Has anyone else stopped receiving notifications via email?  I normally get emails of anyone sending me a message or posting a comment on my profile or pics, but they seemed to have stopped in the past few days.

Tested and it worked fine for me. Maybe they are going to your spam?

Yeah, I checked my spam.  Nothing.

So weird.

Recently they have been exceptionally slow.  Like hours or even a day or two late.  I wasn't sure if it was only me but sounds like there may be a backlog.

Just tested again on a different account and worked very fast. The issue could be on your email's end.

Did you by any chance change the setting in your profile to not accept message in email?
Have fun and tussle.

Nope.  And I've gotten a couple notifications via email, but several days late.  It's weird.

It happened to me too and it was when I was trying to reset the password that I momentarily forgot ( and for which I think I should receive notifications even if I disactivated them for comments/messages). When I logged in again I checked if the email was the correct one and yes,it was, so I don't know what the problem was.

May I ask two questions on this subject:

1. If I change "Notify by email every time you receive a personal message" from 'Never' to 'Always', how long after I make the change would you expect it to take effect?
and
2. Assuming I had selected "All members, except those on my ignore list", would you expect that change to apply to incoming messages regardless of whether they were a first message from another member or a subsequent message from a member who had messaged me prior to me making the above change?

Thank you for being there to answer our questions !

The Answer to the first question is the change would happen immediately. If I understand the second question you would receive messages from someone on your ignore list before the change was made. But once the change was made you shouldn't get any from those people.

Thanks for confirming the change should take effect immediately.
(As it happens, the second question was not relating to an ignore list but just double-checking that the change would apply to all incoming messages - excluding anyone on an ignore list, of course - as opposed to only messages from people who had never messaged me prior to the change - and I think your response makes clear that it would indeed apply to all, so thank you, again!)

Couldn't delete my post, but I described some experiment that was not very clever in hindsight. You may delete this message/post.

Forget the above, the site requires re-activation of the account! In my case it worked out fine but wouldn't cause any trouble.
