Incitement during the fight.

A question to satisfy my curiosity addressed to all women who fight or have fought in public or in front of their partners.
If you found yourself completely blocked by your opponent and almost unable to fight back, did you hear the voices of the crowd/partners inviting your opponent to hit you again and finish you off?
If so, what effect did they have on you?
Did they spur you on to try to react or did they shut down your last strength?
Thanks to all who will respond.

Yes, I've heard men yelling for my opponent to hit me again, or hit me harder, and to finish me.  It has always driven me to fight harder and also it turns me on.  There is a sadistic element to those calls, and that dark side is part of what makes fighting in front of others exciting.

Sorry for breaking into this thread that I'm sure you meant for female replies, but I wanted to add my 2-cents worth.

I'm all for cheering on a friend or family member who is involved in a catfight.  However, I've noticed a very disturbing trend in recent years, where one girl is getting thoroughly beaten, and the dominant girl keeps punching and kicking her opponent, including vicious kicks to the head, and the crowd just stands back and lets it happen.  Someone could get seriously injured, and suffer life long disabilities from such an attack, or even die from injuries suffered.  It's insane.

Yes, I get aroused seeing two girls in a hair pulling catfight.  But when it devolves into something like that, it's sickening, and should be stopped.

Just my opinion.

Lucky I was only in such a position that was really bad, while I had no loved ones around there were a few " friends " , the screaming/cheering for my to get back into the fight certainly was an adrenaline feeder but it actually ended up making me hit back harder it also seem to suck my remaining strength faster. The woman I was in the fight with had position on me and was both hitting me and using my hair to slam my head on the ground. I landed a few good shots upon hearing the cheers and I thought for a minute I got this, just ended up making her angrier and by that time I felt this ridiculous pain in my muscles that just drained me allowing her to win the fight. But the next time her and I fought she got the worse of it, sadly there was no third fight I was so hoping she would want to.

Verbal encouragement ("Get her!"), direction ("Go for her blouse!") or taunts ("She's going down, do it now!") all matter at times. You hear some, register excited decibels mostly, and react strongly to a few. Sometimes the shouted urgings, threats, or directions make a significant different in a close battle.
