Movie and TV lack of catfight dissapointments

Have you ever watched a movie or TV show in anticipation of a good catfight only to be disappointed? Here is my top ten list of disappointments that I was left fantasizing about.

1.   Wonder Woman (the 70s TV show)- In keeping with the early Golden Era comic book WW, the Amazonian princess had trouble with female foes. The pilot episode had perhaps the greatest TV catfight in history. WW was roughed up by a German judo champion/spy, before getting the win with a roundhouse right. The next episode also showed WW having difficulty with a female foe, as WW has a quasi-catfight (more of a sexy roll down a hill) with a German baroness. WW loses the tussle and is forced to cheat by using her golden lasso. In the 3rd episode, things start going south for my hopes and dreams. WW faces off with Fausta, who has been billed as the Nazi Wonder Woman. This should have been at least as good as the pilot catfight. Instead, WW makes short work of Fausta. After this, the only thing close to a catfight WW had was against the ant lady (forget her name) who tossed WW around rather easily early in the episode. I expected WW to attempt to get her revenge later, but she apparently realized the ant lady was the tougher woman and instead decided to kiss her ass and make her an ally. Perhaps the most disappointing non-fight in the series was the Jayne Kennedy episode. Jayne was close to Linda Carter's equal in looks and physique. They could have had a tremendous catfight. Instead WW talked the villainous Jayne into seeing the error of her ways.
2.   Dukes of Hazard- I have attempted to watch every episode of this show hoping to see a good catfight with the American icon and legendary sex symbol, Daisy Duke. There were a few near catfights. Once she was KO'd with one punch by a beautiful blonde. A couple of other times, she chased down a couple of females, creating anticipation of a catfight, but each fight mainly involved Daisy judo tossing them onto the ground.
3.   Baywatch (the TV series)- This show was loaded with the most beautiful women of the 1990s. Considering it featured a law enforcement unit (maybe a stretch) you should have featured a few good fights, but if you were hoping (like me) to see Pamela Anderson, Carmen Electra, Nicole Eggert, Traci Bingham, etc. in a good scrap on the beach than you would have been disappointed. Sure, the short-haired brainy one (forget her name) got her ass kicked in a great fight, but why couldn't Pamela have been the one getting roughed up?
4.   Son of the Beach- While this was not as well-known as Baywatch, this show about lifeguards on the beach was also loaded with incredibly sexy women. The show was built around shamelessly exploiting the sexiness of the actresses, so you think they would have had a few good catfights. Instead, the only quasi-fight on the show was a mud wrestling fight involving their short-haired brainy one.
5.   Joe Dirt- This cinematic classic featured the incredible Hollywood goddesses Brittany Daniel and Jaime Presley. Both were rivals for the affection of Joe Dirt. Daniel was wholesome and sweet, while Pressley was wild and naughty. They should have fought. It made no sense for them not to have fought. If I could sue a writer for malpractice, I would have sued the writer of this movie.
6.   The Office (US version)- Okay, I forgive the writers of this show for not including a catfight, as it probably would not fit within the show's theme. Still, there were several good opportunities for Pam, the girl next door type with big boobs and shapely legs, to have gotten into a fight. There was an episode with Amy Adams where people in the office, primarily Kevin, were trying to make Pam jealous by saying Adams was even hotter than her. In another episode, Pam even half-joked about wanting to punch Angela (I think Angela would have won). There were also multiple episodes alluding to tension between Pam and Jan. Possibly the closest they got to a fight was during the dinner party episode, when Jan was clearly jealous of Pam, thinking Pam had a crush on Michael.
7.   Buck Rogers (70s TV show)- While Buck Rogers was the star, but the only reason, in my opinion, to watch the old reruns is to see the beautiful heroine, Wilma. One of the main villains was the equally beautiful Princess Ardala. The non-fight between Wilma and the princess also made no sense.
8.   Clueless (the movie)- Maybe this is biased thinking on my part, but this movie was perfect for a catfight. Alicia Silverstone and Stacy Dash were gorgeous in this movie. While neither appeared to be the fighting type, Brittany Murphy seemed to be. Murphy's character was gritty and street smart and with all the drama and conflict brewing, should have kicked either Silverstone's or Dash's ass. Silverstone and Dash experienced tension, as well, that could have easily spilled over into a catfight.
9.   Game of Thrones- GOT was full of fights and beautiful women. You would think at least two of the women would have fought at some point, but if they did, I missed it.
10.   Star Trek (the series)- While I would not consider myself a Trekkie, I did enjoy watching reruns of the TV show as a kid. I especially had a crush on Uhura. Kirk was always getting in a fight, but I thought a Uhura fight would be incredible. In one episode, I thought my wish was coming true. Kirk, Scotty, and Uhura were on a strange planet and were confronted by 2 guys and 2 sexily clad females. Their phasers would not work, so Kirk said to fight hand to hand. I was so excited. At first, it showed Kirk duking it out, then it showed Scotty locked in a vicious brawl, and then the camera went to Uhura, who was standing passively between her two foes. Apparently, she decided fighting was not worth messing her hair up or something. Tremendous disappointment.

This list is not meant to be a sour grapes list of complaints. While I would have loved to have seen some of those potential catfights come to fruition, it is also fun to think about what might have been. Does anyone else have any movies/TV shows that you felt could have easily had a catfight that would have enhanced your viewing experience?

Not on your list:
#11 Beverly Hills 90210, No Brenda vs Kelly, Shannen Doherty vs Jennie Garth, even though they were in a protracted, unresolved live triangle.

I almost put this on my list, but since I have only seen a fraction of the episodes, I was not sure if there hadn't been a fight among the them. Tori Spelling would have been fun to watch also.

#26 90210:   No Kelly vs Valerie, even though Kelly invited Valerie to "step outside" at the Peach Pit once.

#27 WKRP in Cincinnati:  No Bailey vs Jennifer to determine who ruled the station.

#29 Petticoat Junction:   No Billie Jo vs Bobbie Jo.  Drama between sisters boils over to a challenge at the swimming hole

#30 Charlie's Angels:  No Kelly Garrett vs Jull Monroe.   Kelly tired of playing second fiddle to Jill's blonde hair and smile.

Y'all are forgetting one of the greatest missed catfight opportunities in history - Ginger vs. Mary Anne on Gilligan's Island. Why, oh television gods!?  Why not one good fight?!!!

There's a couple from the various lists above that especially resonated with me, like Game of Thrones and The Sopranos.  Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister) in GOT was sexy, evil and bitchy and I wanted to see her in a female vs female battle.  Edie Falco (Carmela Soprano) was hot, sexy and tough looking.  Maybe her versus Tony's female shrink (Loraine Bracco as Dr. Melfi) or another tough Mafia bitch.

A few other women beautiful, sexy, bitchy and tough looking women come to mind:

#51 Brenda Strong (Ann Ewing) in the Dallas remake.
#52 Robin Wright (Claire Underwood) in House of Cards
#53 Allison Janney in Mom and various movies
#54 Helen Barkin in Ocean's 13 and Animal Kingdom
#55 Jessica Lange in American Horror Story
#56 Katey Segal in Sons of Anarchy.
