If we want to go way back then Joan Crawford & Mecedes McCambridge in Johnny Guitar. A stand up bare knuckle brawl would have been a classic.

You nailed that one.  This would be at the top of my list.  Watched the entire movie in anticipation of some catty action and instead got a lame gunfight at the end.

Someone else mentioned Barbarella.  That would be second.

Give me some time, I'll think of a few more.

hangaround

In season 1 of Charlies Angeles the girls were sent to a military boot camp to investigate a girl's death or something, and in one scene Farrah and Jaclyn were learning some judo moves as part of their training and Farrah hip-flipped Jaclyn pretty hard to the ground, and you could kind of tell that Jaclyn didn't like it lol. But the scene shifted to something else and Jaclyn never got her chance to flip Farrah. I would have liked to seen Jaclyn getting her turn at flipping Farrah to her back. But once again nothing happens that you want to happen  >:(

Catfight MvM, NHB Bareknuckle Fist Fight

Defense Head Pete Hegseth vs. Executive Director of Iran/Afghanistan Veterans of America Paul Rieckhoff
(Hegseth is 6'1", 44 years old, Rieckhoff is 6'2", 50 years old.  And I think they'd both really like this to happen.)

Catfight WvW, NHB Bareknuckle Fist Fight

Governor of Michigan Gretchen Whitmer vs. House Rep of Georgia Marjorie Taylor Greene
Whitmer is 53, Greene is 50.

IMHO FWIW I would have liked to have seen Joan and Peggy from "Mad Men" tear into each other in the lobby of SC&P. Joan would have handily beaten a game Peggy in front of the entire staff and Roger who would whisk her off to the Waldorf to celebrate her win.

And the two Mrs Drapers Betty and Megan would be my solid second choice catfighting in the big living room of Don's apartment. Megan would would put up a fight and overweight Betty's tits would be clawed by the younger quicker Megan but the larger Betty would eventually mount Megan and facesit her into unconsciousness while screaming out an orgasm.

It's stunning how many people are just listing nonsensical matchups that aren't based on actual media (TV/movies). Did you read the original post? Do you understand English?

I was gonna let this ride but the "literacy" and "actual media" and "do you understand English" cracks finally got a rise out of me.

The subject is "Media that should have had a catfight."

Media definition includes broadcasting, publishing and the internet.  Which means newspapers, magazines, books, radio, television, cinema and social media.

So postings such as AOC vs. MTG and Katie Couric vs. Kelly Ripa I took to be a logical expansion of the subject.  So I followed suit (being careful to also include a female catfight below my male catfight).  Yes, the originator of the subject specified females, but I surely can't be the only one on this catfight forum that wouldn't thoroughly enjoy seeing Pete Hegseth getting his ass kicked.

BTW, my favorite listing so far has been Joan Crawford vs. Mercedes McCambridge in Johnny Guitar.  Absolutely!

"I'm comin' up, Vienna!"  "I'll be waitin', Emma!"

I realize there are some repeats, but here we go:

Ginger vs. Mary Anne - Gilligan's Island
Daphne vs. Josei - Scooby Doo and Josie and the Pussycats
Jeannie vs. her Sister - I Dream of Jeannie (Pretty sure the tech at the time couldn't have handled this)
Lt. Uhura vs. Shahna - Star Trek Gamesters of Triskelon
Droxine vs. Vanna - Star Trek The Cloud Minders
Star Trek Mirror Universe - For a place where all the women everybody is doing everything to take power, there is only one catfight that I recall
Princess Leia vs. Oola - Star Wars return of the Jedi Jabba just happened to feed his favorite dancer to a Rancor the Day Leia showed up?
Penny vs. Priya - Big Bang theory.  Leonard is such a stud.  One hot girl after another.  Penny didn't seem to mind any except Priya who seemed to hate Penny Just as much.  How that one didn't end in a catfight in Leonard's living room I'll never know.

The original post literally states books, movies, tv, and specifies that it's something building up between TWO CHARACTERS that never played out. Patricia Heaton and Leah Remini aren't characters that were building up towards a catfight that never happened. Neither were Pete Hegseth and Paul Rieckhoff.

So, yes, it's a literacy issue and you clearly didn't bother reading the post that kicked this off.

There was a Brazilian TV show called 'A Fazenda' and Andressa Urach and Denise Rocha had some heated confrontations, and it almost got out of hand on multiple occasions.

I believe they had a little MMA fight. I know for sure Urach had one with someone. not sure if it was with Rocha.
It wasn't great.
