Here is a big reason why I like discord better than trillian.  In order for someone to talk to you on discord you A.  either have to share a group with them and the groups I am in have good screeners or B.  Be friends with them by sending a friend request.  If they are clowns, you unfriend them and they can't talk to you again.

The great weakness with discord is it has all the high dysfunction of yahoo groups times a hundred. Without being in a group you will NEVER meet anyone. And it gives incredible power to owners/admins/mods/whatever the fuck they are called there. I have been there over a year and I see all the same messed up bullshit that made me hate yahoo groups with a passion. I have seen people who have been around for years and never had an issue with Clark because they are careful. Trillian Ids posted on your page verify them. Just don't go blindly into a fight chat  where they can use any nick (and you can change your nick very easily in discord)

Discord actually scares me more because of its setup. Once he gets in there in groups you'll likely never get him out. I have already seen groups where the admins and the champs are alts of each other and no one in the group has the foggiest idea. Leo can do that too if he applies himself.

Also i would add that the list of ids Leo left on this thread are in all likelihood still active and under his control. Again if the person you are chatting with on trillian claims to be here verify their trillian by their profile and/or contacting him here. He is counting on lazy people.
