Access to the Chat Room

suddenly yesterday - 12/23/18 the Chat room will not let me log in. I even changed my PW but I still get a connection error on one browser and the other browser just sits there saying "connecting."

Had no issues getting in with chrome today. Might just be your ISP acting up.

Hi

I am having similar problems and have now for a number of months.

When I try and login it says access denied. I have tried to just use my first name and password but it has not helped.

Does anyone have the solution to this problem ?

Use Laurie_Catfighter and your password and it should work. I see no issues on our end

Thats because your username which is the name you use to log into the chat room is two words.
The only people that can change it are administrators. Let me know what you would like it changed to and I'll change it for you.

Are you putting a check in the box that says "I have a password" and putting your password in?

I cannot get into chat using Microsoft Edge browser No trouble with chrome or Firefox.

I have never used Edge so i don't know what could be causing that except to wonder if it has to do with some setting in the browser. But maybe a member who is using edge can help you.

Thanks for the help. I have found if I put in my password I get in using edge.

It's not working for me either. I am using my screen name and password but I get error messages. this chatroom has been nothing but trouble for me whenever I try to go in it

To use the chat room you need to log in with your log in name which is VenezuelanGoddess and your password.

Thanks BD - I was doing that with my original name VenezuelanGoddess but couldn't get in the other day. Kept getting error messages but today I got in no problem

When I try to log into the chatroom it ask for a channel and key number. How do I get this information.

Channel should default to #fcf. Never seen it ask for a key number What you should be seeing is as per this: https://www.freecatfights.com/forums/index.php?topic=64047.0
