[Glamour Fights]

This is the list of the 32 sex symbols of the 1950s in alphabetical order. Each will face the other in a round robin tournament. Who do you think will become the champion. You can vote from 1 to 32 as you choose. I apologize to anyone whose favorite I have left off the list. I had to settle on 32 and had to make some hard choices. I am sure there are more worthy sex symbols I left off. I can think of several I would have liked to have included. Part of my selection was based on being able to get information about the actresses and also to get enough photos to be able to make good comparisons. Half the fun for me is in creating the polls with interesting pictures that have the catfighters in similar poses. Finally I limited the choices to be 18 or over (born in 1938 or earlier) and born in 191 or later.  Thus the ages range from 18 to 35. I figured a 35 year old actress in good shape should be able to fight evenly against an 18 year old actress who didn't have as much experience.

So this poll has meaning I am going to use the results to seed the sex symbols. Unless they have already fought, this will mean that the ones people think are the toughest will face each other near the end of the tournement  Hopefully we will have several fights of undefeateds.

Debra Paget (Debralee Griffin) was born on Saturday, August 19, 1933 and she is a famous actress. General appearance: - 5' 2" (157 cm) height 34C-22-34 (1954 at age of 21)

Debra Paget was one of the hard choices I had to make in leaving out some out. I had trouble finding pictures from my normal sources but I see you found some nice ones. Also at 5'2" I thought she was starting to get a little on the short side compared to several who are 5'8" or so. It is true there are several who are 5'4" and Elizabeth Taylor is only 5'3". But one could not have a list of 1950s sex symbols and leave Liz off it. You could say that about Debra but there are several others I left off who deserved to be on the list. 32 contestants are enough for the tournament.

Lisa Gaye was Debra Paget's sister.. She wasn't as famous as Debra but she was 5'5" and had a natural rivalry with Joi Lanisng. So because Lisa was taller and because i didn't have as good a rivalry for Debra I ended up selecting Lisa.

However you may feature her against any of those I have listed. Also if you would like I an produce some non-tournament fights with Debra against some of those listed or some others I left off the list. That is if I can find a good source for her images.

I certainly would like suggest from others of who may have been good to have included. The only restrictions are that they were "actresses" or notable "sex symbols" and born between 1920 and 1938.  For example off the off the top of my head I can think of Grace Kelly and Deborah Kerr.
