Who would make for good (and even-sided) opponents for the following ?

#1: Sylvie Bernier (5'02", ex-olympic diver, won gold at the 1984 gamses in L.A.)

Hi Patrick,
You of course made it harder by picking sportswomen.  That makes it unfair on us to pick pretty much any "celeb" who isn't accomplished in the sports arena as she'd definitely get a good hiding.  So, in your spirit, I'd go for:

Jessica Ennis - currently world no.1 ranked Heptathlete from the UK:

Speed:  well, heptathlon includes 100m hurdles and 200m sprint.  Strength:  shot putt and javelin.  Stamina:  7 events over 2 days
She's got better abs than 99% of the men I know.  Oh - and she's very cute.... ;-)

sharon davies ex swimmer body to die for...strong woman would take some beating...

saharrison

Id go for Denise Lewis British ex Olympic Heptathalon gold medalist and now a TV journalist (and still fit)

Jade Johnson the UK Long Jumper and some time fashion model

(although as these two don't exactly get along whether theyd be able to keep their out hands out of each others hair is another matter :) )

... mind you, they don't HAVE to be athletes (not that I mind if they are... LOL)

Catfighting, when "using" celebs, involves a good measure of suspension of disbelief (all within good reason though, I mean, say, Calista Flockhart beating Mary would be a stretch for anyone's imagination LOL).

Also, just because, in Mary's case, a woman is big and muscled-up, doesn't automatically make her a potentially good or tough catfighter (Lyndsey Davenport leaps to mind)... so, the like of, say, Catherine Bell, Brigitte Nielsen (in her prime) ect... could probably well hold their own vs. someone like Pierce, or at least, they LOOK LIKE, they could.

And, my poor little Sylvie, at 5'02" and now in her mid-fourties, it wouldn't take a Chyna to "keep here busy" (LOL)

Thanks for all the suggestions so far !

Young athletes try to teach your older ones a lesson, 19 year old Caroline Wozniacki (1.77m) and 23 year old Maria Kirilenko (1.73m).

Thanks for bringing HER to my "attention" !

Ohhhh, I sure can, and have had (since you posted that) "see" her and Mary "getting it on" !

Yep, as I'm not, by any means, opposed to seeing/imagining my favorites getting into trouble, or losing... outright ! So I can certainly go for this.

... especially with my being more than partial to young vs. mature kinds of constrasts in a catfight !

Very interesting (and VERY nice !) suggestions...

Either one of those would womanhandle Sylvie senseless, in the here and now, and would still do so, but face more resistance, with her in her prime.

Would be closer if they faced Mary though...

My first choice would be Ava taking on younger Sylvie (my poor little Sylvie winds up huting and defeated) then Fawnia taking on Mary, close one, with Pierce juuuuuuuuuuuust managing to edge out a win ? Anyhow, win or lose, anyone witnessing that fight would be the real winner !

Please, do keep 'em coming !
