Site Outage

We had a major (and I mean major) power cut in Amsterdam today (http://rt.com/news/244537-power-outage-north-holland/) which took most the data centres off line temporarily. What this meant for FCF is that whilst things came back online within minutes, we had a severely corrupted database which has just been restored.

If anyone notices anything unusual, post it here and we will get on it.

Only thing I noticed so far is forum profile pics seem to have been deleted. I just re uploaded mine but the other pictures seem to be still there.

Thanks, a lot of files were corrupt and had to be restored from previous backups. this is the case for the banner management module as well so you may see some outdated stuff there

I noticed a number of members missing from my friends list and pending friends list...

I don't know if they all disabled their accounts last night or it was part of the database issue.

Members list is still messedup and can not add my profile pic either...Thxx   also I tried to bring on new profile pic but it has krakmonster on it so beware my profile might be hacked ..thxx again

Like everyone else My profile pic was missing but otherwise everything else seems normal

Noticed pictures from my threads gone, and wondered why that was. Maybe this is the explanation?

Not sure, but NEWBIEs ...  May have knocked some newer members out of forum.  Happened to see lady post entering poll. Done with in last 24 hours.
Yet now she is gone, just shows as guest.

May be nothing, yet thought I would mention it.
Also my profile is like scrunched/ compacted down now ....  Maybe due to lack of buddy profile photos?

Some files were badly corrupted and we had to grab back up copies to get to where we are now. It seems a lot of recent or newer profile pictures have been lost. Please reup them.

There is still a fair bit of work to do but at least were back up. For a while it looked like we would be offline for possibly 48 hours....thanks to the guys at VXS, were back and busy :-)

I had posted dozens of pics in my "Trip down memory lane: 50 years of nostalgia..." thread under General Discussions about Catfights.  Any idea if they will be reinserted or are there gone for good? 

I took me quite a while and a lot of work to get them posted on that thread.  If they are gone, that's OK, but I don't think that I'll have the time and patience to repost all of them.  Very unfortunate.

Hi Moderators - This might be totally unrelated to the outage, but our most recent post in the Producer's Announcements Area (April 3) has completely disappeared along with 2 supportive responses.  We will re-post our original post in the belief that we did nothing wrong and that "the internet" simply burped.  If that is NOT the case, and if our post is either illegal or improper, please let us know the issue and we will resolve it immediately.
