I have seen some teen age wrestlers from the UK who the photo says are 16 ....and they claim they wrestle in the ring.  Does anyone know if this is true or not????

The serious question should be  who in their right mind would watch  16 yo  girls  fight.
Life's   a Bitch, and so am I.

There is the proper sports side of wrestling  such as that at the olympics. okay some perverts may look it at in the wrong frame of mind but it is a sport like any other be it running or gymnastics.

There are plenty of adult women in the world to watch.  Seriously, in America this is a no no that will ruin your life. They are kids. They are girls. Leave them alone.

That is why I asked the question , why would they let teens actually wrestle at that young age in a ring???? I agree that they should not be in a ring.. I did not say I watched them. I have less and less interest in any type of fighting as I get older....

WWE Paige started wrestling in her early teens here in the UK, but that was for her parents company and in a controlled environment and she had grown up surrounded by the business. I'm sure there are other 2nd & 3rd generation wrestling children who's parents have encouraged them to take it up at an early age but it comes down to the environment that they are learning and competing in. I wouldn't condone anyone putting on matches between children unless they were properly supervised and trained and equally the idea of a young child taking on a full grown adult is abhorrent regardless of the situation

Excuse me, but I have seen footage of two 16 year old girls MMA cage fighting in the good old USA posted up on YouTube. Since it is in a ring it is a sport rather than a fetish. High school girls do wrestle in school in USA. Should girls forfeit the right to participate in the same sports that boys do simply because some men MIGHT sexualise them?

No, but we obviously look at female wrestling as more than just sport. If you have an Ultimate Surrender folder on your computer right next to a folder titled "high school girls wrestling," I don't think many people would approve.
