Don't know if this has been posted before, but an interesting interview of behind the scenes talk of the catfight with the 2 actresses http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f1TF5wRvMOM

Never saw this before, quite interesting, thank you very much

Great find! From Russia With Love was released fifty years ago - and the gypsy catfight in that move is STILL the most realistic and sexiest of all the Bond film catfights.
I did enjoy the Halle Berry vs Rosamund Pike fight in Die Another Day, but it's just not in the same class as the gypsy catfight.

This is  a great clip! I love how it gives a better perspective of the whole Bond movie. The information on the catfight is very insightful. Thanks for sharing this.

That catfight started it all for me...thanks for posting

My compliments lilbugs for finding and posting this.  I never knew that such an interview existed between the two gorgeous combatants about what ranks as the sexiest catfight ever produced.  It's not long, it's not overly revealing, but it was part of the Bond genre and it had all of the elements that make for an exciting, titilating catfight -- extraordinary build up, great color and cinematography, excellent and differing camera angles, enough skin to tease the mind, and fierce fighting.  Nothing quite like it.

I was a catfight lover before From Russia With Love was released, but this fight pushed it over the top.

BTW, one of the old pro wrestling magazines actually ran a 4-5 page article on this fight back in 1963 or 64, complete with photos.  Wish I could find it somewhere.

Judging by some stills floating around the web I realize the scene must have been longer than the movie cut version. From what I recall the catfight description in the book was also longer than what was shown in the movie. I believe there was a yahoo group few years back which had tons of stills from that fight but I can't seem to find it anymore. One or two new stills emerge on some online auctions on less popular stores from time to time but I haven't had time to check them recently. I wish someone put all those stills in one place one day.

Ye I Also think it was far better mentioned in the book.
Anyway nice to see them intervewing & sharing their views after so long, which probably made it more interesting.

Thanks
