message problem

i wasnt sure where to put this so here goes, and move it to its proper location if its in the wrong spot.
the my messages tab says i have three unread messages which i would like to be able to read but havent been able to for some reason when ever i click on it and try to read them it says that there are no messages in my inbox

Everyone has the same problem and for the moment there's no solution to it...
