Pulp Magazine Cover Catfights

Here are three old pulp magazine covers showing catfights where 2 women are fighting for possession of a gun. These are obviously desperate, high-stakes, life-or-death struggles. The images inspired me to write a short story "Film Noir Catfight", which you can find in the catfight stories section of this board, and at the link here:

Here's another picture to go with the images earlier in this thread. Not a catfight at such, but one can imagine: the gun makes the blonde villainess overconfident, and that might give the feisty brunette a chance to distract her, grab the blonde's wrist, and try to disarm her.

Just something about this artwork I have always loved. They had to work within some tight borders but the best ones always managed to instill such a sexy atmosphere, that promised more to come. Thank you for sharing.

I found a higher resolution (at the link) copy of this old pulp magazine cover, featuring two women fighting over a gun.

I understand that these cover images were often a tease, and that nothing in the magazines necessarily matched up. So I wrote a story inspired by the picture, which people can read at the link.
