Iggy button in Chat Room

This is a topic i was discussing with another member and will only be of interest to those who frequent the chat room.

Who likes the iggy button gone and who misses it? Who thinks it was a pain and actually affected their chat life

Ok nobody make a dumb blonde joke but what was the iggy button?

just a guess here......iggy = ignore button?

Yeah lol the iggy button is the ignore button. When in chat in the olden days gone past you could press an ignore button and not receive messages from that person you chose to ignore. I dont even think you could see their posts in the main room.

On the negative side people could ignore and unignore constantly which would freeze you up and your only option would be to leave the chat room.

The other annoying thing about it was that as soon as you would enter the chat room, if a user had previously ignored you that would be the first thing you would have to click. If there was a lag as there is nowadays, this would hinder your chatting even more as it took as long to respond to the ignore button as to speak your first sentence.

On the positive side you would not have to read, or see messages from a chatter who was irritating you
