I was talking to my mum on the phone about the criticism that my then girlfriend had been telling me her mother had for me. My mum used a phrase, but it's intrigued me ever since. She said she'd like to talk to my girlfriend's mother "woman-to-woman".

I'm curious how anyone on here would interpret this particular phrase ?

Not sure. but I'd make sure I was near by (with my gorlfriend of course) when they meet up. Might make for an interesting site.
