I had been buying Lady Hawke VHS tapes a few years back when they were doing those. I remember I either received a email or on his website that he was going to do other type of videos.... Does anyone know what made him close down Lady Hawke wrestling tapes???? Some of the matches were pretty good..

I believe that Brandy Hawke and her husband Jim owned, filmed, wrestled, produced and distributed their vids.  That was quite awhile ago, I mean 20+ years.  I'm not sure if that's who you're thinking about.  The last I heard, which was about 10 years ago and in an email from Brandy herself, was that she had experienced some health issues and that prompted the shut down.

Personally, I loved their stuff.

She was a darn good wrestler - I only saw one loss on tape against Lena who was amazing. She'd take whatever her younger opponents were dishing out and come back. She was quite good at escaping a predicament - call it "defense".

I'm sorry to read that Brandy did indeed pass away.  She was a true pioneer in this business.
