Received a very disturbing email from one of the platforms which I use (not C4S), but still see below and make of it what you will.

I find it a very distrubing precedent which if is adopted by other platforms is very very sad.

We are writing to inform you that new laws in Alabama and North Carolina require us to make changes to the type of content we can distribute on our platforms.

We will no longer accept any Adult Content of the following types:
1. Productions shot (in whole or in part) in Alabama or North Carolina.
2. Productions featuring Talent whose legal residence is in Alabama or North Carolina.
3. Productions featuring Talent whose identification documents are issued by Alabama or North Carolina or indicate Alabama or North Carolina residence.

The Alabama restrictions apply to productions shot on or after October 1, 2024, whereas the North Carolina restrictions apply to content shot on or after December 1, 2025.

Please feel free to share this information with any relevant partners.

For further details, see the full text of the new laws:
Alabama - https://legiscan.com/AL/text/HB164/2024
North Carolina - https://www3.ncleg.gov/EnactedLegisl...SL2025-84.html

We regret any inconvenience these changes may cause. As always, we pride ourselves on upholding an industry-leading standard of excellence and compliance in every aspect of our business. Thank you for your continued support as a valued collaborator.
