Has anyone else had a chance to see the GLOW documentary that is now on Netflix?  As a guy that grew up at that time (and first discovered his fetish because of it) I found it very interesting, if not a little sad.

I've seen it a few times. As a kid who watched GLOW every saturday night at midnight when I was in jr. high, it was nice to see everyone again. My biggest disappointment was David McLane declining to be interviewed. I feel that without the guy who started it and no discussion at all about the big split in 87, (Dave taking Tina and a bunch of his other favorites with him to form POWW in the midwest,) left a big gaping hole in the movie. I'm glad it wasn't a hit piece on him either but not having him in there left it lacking.

They also only scratched the surface of what Little Egypt has done to preserve the memory of GLOW above and beyond the reunion.

All and all it was a good movie but it felt like a lot was left out.

Haven't seen this, but I've seen many of their matches on Youtube.

Ninotchka, Godiva et al were all great entertainers, and the large lady in pink..armed with an umbrella...made it enjoyable too.

I need to sit and watch this some time. GLOW really cemented my love for women's wrestling during my formative years. Yes it was cheezy, but then again I like the Batman tv series as well. It was amazing for it's day.

I used to watch GLOW every saturday night at Midnight when I was a kid. (Later on it was back to back with Rollergames, another awesome guilty pleasure.) Had a massive crush on Hollywood and Ninotchka back then.

Ah, Gorgeous Ladies Of Wrestling.  Who remembers when Suzie Spirit had her arm dislocated?  Though my favorite was Ninotchka.  (watch the Greta Garbo movie if you can)  Her phone calls between matches to her bumbling Commie assistant were hilarious!

Please tell me this is available on Netflix UK...

What's the title of the film?

GLOW was there for me in my formative years, had a real thing for Sally the Farmer's daughter. It was the way her top straps hung off her shoulders and how feisty she was.

GLOW: The Story of the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling

GLOW came out during a very formative time in my life. It helped really get me into the fetish of female wrestling.
