I've seen my mum in heated arguments on several occasions but never in any physical fight. One argument felt like it could actually escalate into a full fight, but people interfered and separated them before anything happened.

Similar to my own experience, seen a few heated arguments but only one that would have turned into a brawl had others not interfered and moved them away from each other

I watched my mum fight once. I was 13. It was frightening, upsetting and embarrassing.

I can understand that. It was embarrassing for me being a quiet, teenager too being around my mom when she was arguing with another woman, also slightly frightening, but being a teenage boy and my mom being the main female figure in my life at that point I also found it exciting
