Yahoo profile help please

Hello. Recently I made an e-mail account for Yahoo so I could join some groups. However I ran into some difficulty and I need some help please. What do I need to do to get my age and gender to show up on the members list of a group? Thank you for any help in advance.

Here are some thoughts playing around with my own yahoo profile. First off make sure your profile is not hidden. Then go to edit profile and make sure under basic information your gender and age are public. That might be the problem.

I was playing around with my yahoo settings also and it appears that Meg is correct.

I went to the part where I could put my picture up and I opened everything. Went to a group I am a member of and nothing was there. That's okay though because the group I wanted to join needed my picture profile page open.

It is possible the setting for that group does not allow member's ages and genders to be displayed. Having not run a group in yahoo its a guess but that is possible.
