I just learned about this today.   In my opinion this is major as it's about time that Mildred Burke is getting some of the recognition she so richly deserves,  Believe it or not she started out around the 1930'when women's pro wrestling was banned in most states. I would guess that some of the newer wrestling fans may not know that much about her .  I won't go into too much detail.  Let's just say that was the first significant women's wrestling champion,

The trailer to "Queen of the Ring" can be found in YouTube.  Release date is March 7, 2025 and stars Emily Bet Rickards .

I look forward to it !

I'm posting this because I thought it is a significant event..

Hopefully it will do justice to the Queen of the Ring.

In anyone has any comments I would love to hear them

Thanks for the 411.  I just watched the trailer, and it looks interesting.  The movies does not appear to be a small budget film.  Obviously, someone in Tinseltown believes that Mildred's story will strike a nerve with today's public.  Not only does her story involve the fight to overcome deep-seated sexism and tradition, but the ultimate betrayal by her husband / manager.  And I wonder just how June Byers is going to be portrayed.

Like you, I hope that the film does her justice. It's a gritty, often sad story, but one of survival.

Thanks for the comment Bear!   Your Tinseltown reference was spot-on.  The one thing I'm really hoping for is that finally Mildred Burke will receive the recognition she deserves.  I don't know how many of the younger fans know that much about her.  However I do know that number is about to increase!  Her name deserves to be a
"Household Word" or at least close to it!

Thanks again!
