Upscaled from the 90s

I'm not a professional or an expert by any stretch, but I'm continuing to upscale and remaster vintage catfight clips from the 90s. This latest video was remastered using Topaz Video Enhance for upscaling and Davinci Resolve for color grading. Given the quality of the source it's still pretty rough in spots, but this is certainly an upgrade from other versions online. More to come!

I believe the original title for that video was $500 Wager, if I remember correctly. It was a very well done fight with lots of body to body, breast to breast action.

My all time favorite CW catfigh. Love the story line and the scenario of two bad ass women fighting in front of their men. Good all around a ton and the finish was convincing. The two ladies fought again at a pool party on vid. Cannot recall the production but it was exciting as well.

I really don't understand either how modern producers don't try and make films like Californian wildcats did. There's lots of fans who would buy good quality scripted catfights

Not to be picky, but wasn't the title ' The $600 Wager' I have this video and, yes, it was a good one.

I have a large collection of vhs tapes that I digitalized back in the todays of mpeg-1, and have been trying unsuccessfully to remaster into HD. Any suggestions using Topaz? Does AI upscaling increase video quality by itself when viewed at a smaller size?

It's a real shame more of the current producers don't try to make this stuff. I agree, there would be a market for it.

Roadie, you might be right about the title being $600 wager instead of $500 wager. I might have been off by $100! LOL

Suzie deserves the extra $100 for taking Sharon Kane to school in this classic fight. I find this scenario very hot where two guys put their ladies against each other and put their money down. Now, I want to take Brandi with me over to Suzie's apartment. I am putting my money down on Brandi.

In a word, yes. Look at the detail on the hair in the before and after shots in the first post on a small screen. Most phones are 720 or 1080 in resolution which is what you care about. If you put a 4k video on an old 35" SD TV you get SD resolution. Put a 4k resolution video on a 1080p phone and you get 1080p resolution.
