I've previously posted a couple of stories ("Film Noir Catfight" and "Hart to Hart Catfight") in the catfighting section of the Stories board here, and "Pulp Magazine Cover Catfights" in the Catfight Art section.
I like catfights over a gun, villainesses disarmed, etc. The stakes are higher than slap-and-scratch fights over a man. The good girl is often fighting for her life, while the bad girl is sometimes fighting to keep stolen money and to stay out of prison: a life of luxury if she wins - life in prison if she loses.
So I thought I'd start a thread for this.
Here's my first offering, from the Hart to Hart episode Max's Waltz:

Here's a gun struggle catfight story that I wrote to tie in with the image that I chose for my avatar:

Here's another brief gun struggle, from an old series called Hong Kong (episode title The Jade Empress). The sultry, arrogant bad girl is set to get away with a fortune. The hero and the villain fight, the bad girl gets the gun, but then the good girl intervenes. There are cut-aways, and the gun struggle is brief, but the catfight is longer.

Does anyone else like these gun struggle catfights?
Does anyone have any thoughts and/or other clips?
The Hart to Hart fight has to be one of the few times that Stefanie Powers (one of my fantasy women) actually came out on top. She lost every fight in Girl From Uncle and was bested by Linda Evans in and episode of McCloud. Poor Karen Valentine. LOL

I can think of quite a few catfights along this line, but it's going to take some work to find any clips.

Here's another gun struggle catfight, from an episode of "Tropical Heat" (which also ran under the title "Sweating Bullets") called "Ocean Park". The villain and his female accomplice are planning a murder, but the hero and heroine arrive just in time. When the hero kicks the gun out of the villain's hand, his female accomplice scoops it up, but the feisty redheaded good girl pounces on her. Two murders have already been committed, so it's a life of luxury if the villainess prevails, life in prison if she's defeated. The build up starts at around the 42-minute mark:

Blondie's féminine "No" and "Uhhh" are sexy.
Exactly. Her desperate "noooo" reflects her terror at the realization that despite getting to the gun first, which should ensure she and her male accomplice can eliminate the witnesses and get away, the feisty redhead has grabbed her wrist and they're struggling desperately for possession of the gun. She knows it's life in prison if she doesn't win.
Here's another gun struggle catfight from "Tropical Heat" (aka "Sweating Bullets"), this time from the episode "Forget Me Not". The build-up starts from around 46 minutes.

The link above no longer works, but the (surprisingly good) catfight/KO scene from the 1939 screwball comedy "It's a Wonderful World" can be found at the link below, with the build-up beginning at around the 1:23:30 point. Always loved this scene. The taller girl ultimately receives a humiliating beatdown.
I found another gun struggle catfight, in the 1939 movie Torture Ship. Given the age, it's surprisingly good/intense, and starts almost exactly 5 minutes into the film:

Thanks for these posting. I had never run across Pom Pom's postings on Youtube. It has to be the most comprehensive collection of catfighting / wrestling clips anywhere. Absolutely amazing! I found clips that I had long since lost by mistake when converting my VHS collection to DVD, plus lots of other clips that I had never before seen. I can't imagine how he found so many European movies from the 50" with great action, plus older American films.
I have managed to while away the better part of an afternoon being rapt by these clips.
Again, thank you for the connection. You've made my day.

This is a very nice struggle. Not some silly, catty battle over a guy, but a desperate, high-stakes, life-or-death fight. Helen, the hard-faced blonde, has murdered her husband and knows she'll be facing a life sentence if she's apprehended. But when her accomplice arrives and gets the drop on private detective Nick Slaughter and his sidekick, Sylvie, a feisty redhead, she thinks she's got away with it. And if Nick and Sylvie have to be killed too, along with the woman they tried to kill earlier, to cover up the crime, so be it.
But the would-be murder victim kicks the gun out of the accomplice's hand, and it goes sliding across the floor. Helen's face is a mix of panic and determination, and she goes for the gun first, but the feisty redhead reacts instantly and tackles her roughly to the floor before she can get to it. What follows is a short but desperate struggle. Helen is reaching for the gun, and so nearly gets her hand on it, only for Sylvie to pull her back at the last moment. They roll over in a tangle, then lunge for the gun again, both of them reaching desperately for it, both of them getting their hands on it briefly before Sylvie gets the better of Helen, scooping up the gun and holding the blonde murderess in check.
The look on Helen's face says it all: her expression is part glaring hatred at Sylvie, who she underestimated, and part absolute despair: she knows that she so nearly got to the gun and would have got away with everything, but was tackled down and overpowered by the smaller redhead, and now faces a life sentence in prison.
No!

Great summary of this gun struggle catfight. Helen spots the gun and thinks she can soon swing things in her favour if she picks it up. Indeed, Helen's facial expression is great. It's a mixture of hate and desperation when she looks at Sylvie. The struggle for the gun is lost
and the villainess realises that her plan has been thwarted. Do you also like Sylvie's nylon-clad legs? It's the perfect attire for a catfight.

Thanks. You can hear the desperation in Helen's voice as she's roughly tackled down and then pulled back by Sylvie, her hand brushing the weapon, but unable to grip it and pick it up. You can also hear her despair and rage as the feisty redhead gets to the gun and scoops it up. A split second and a few centimeters making the difference between Helen getting the gun and getting away with it, as opposed to Sylvie getting it, with Helen going to prison for life, for her husband's murder.
There's a similar dynamic in the episode "Ocean Park", where the blonde villainess scoops up a gun, only for the feisty redhead to grab her wrist and prevent her from using it. They struggle desperately, on their feet, the gun going off twice, the villainess screaming in frustration. There have already been two murders and the blonde villainess and her male accomplice were on the point of killing another girl, to silence her, so she knows it's a life sentence if she can't get away. Sylvie has the blonde's wrists held hard and tight in her hands as they struggle, the villainess making increasingly desperate screams of exertion and frustration. Finally, the determined Sylvie draws back her fist and catches the blonde murderess with a hard punch, causing her to fall onto the sand, out cold.
The fight between the men carries on for quite a bit longer, and when we next see her, the villainous blonde is still lying there on the sand, motionless, out cold. It must have been one hell of a punch. Imagine her utter despair when she slowly comes around, dazed and confused, her jaw aching, the police on their way; her frustration and rage that despite having got to the gun first, the smaller redhead disarmed her and KOed her.

Thanks for posting the link. Your summary of the catfight is also nice to read. Its' a pity that Sylvie and the blonde don't tumble on the ground. The fight consists primarily of some on-their-feet grappling. I also don't like knockouts. You are robbed of watching the expression of the overpowered villainess. I think Helen's moment of defeat is a good example.

This gun struggle from the Hart To Hart episode "Max's Waltz" is my favorite in the series. I'm thinking of writing a tie-in story. But do you think I should keep it consistent with what we see on screen, or extrapolate a bit, as I did with my first Hart To Hart catfight story?

In a similar gun struggle catfight, Jennifer Hart managed to wrestle down a blonde. She was eventually disarmed by Jennifer. When the blonde is looking up at Jennifer, you can feel her fear at the thought of a long prison sentence.
The catfight starts at 0:14. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Imjetk13SPk
This gun struggle from the Hart To Hart episode "Max's Waltz" is my favorite in the series. I'm thinking of writing a tie-in story. But do you think I should keep it consistent with what we see on screen, or extrapolate a bit, as I did with my first Hart To Hart catfight story?
I think the original script is a good basis for your story. Some background informations about the villainess (her name is Inga) would be great. What crimes commits Inga and her sidekicks? The catfight should be take place in the dance hall. Both women are elegantly-dressed. A hard-fought catfight would be an option. On the other side, Inga has seriously underestimated the strength and will of Jennifer Hart. An one-sided catfight with Jennifer as victor would be realistic.
The aftermath would also be interesting. The catfight over the gun was high stakes. Finally, Inga falied and her sidekicks would blame the blonde. An encounter between Inga and Jennifer in the courtroom would also be great. The heroine is attired in a
dress and the villainess is wearing prison clothes.
I hope my thoughts will inspire you. Keep up the good work
Here are 2 more gun struggle catfights, both from the same YouTube channel. The first is from an episode of "Hart to Hart" called "Slow Boat To Murder", and the second is from an episode of "Danger Man" called "Not So Jolly Roger":

Good punch combo on the "Danger Man" one--did almost as much damage as a gun.
Yes. The arrogant villainess is half out of it at the end, dazed, battered, and pretty much being held up by the heroine.
Here's a gun struggle catfight where a ruthless hit-woman is chased and tackled down by a feisty female NCIS officer, first on the grass, and then on the beach. If the fleeing bad girl had stood her ground and drawn her gun, she would surely have prevailed, but she panics, perhaps because fears of a life sentence cloud her judgement, as she realizes the authorities have connected her to multiple murders. The hit-woman draws her gun as she runs, but the relentless NCIS girl brings her down with a diving tackle, causing the shot to go wide. A ferocious life-or-death fight ensues, the NCIS agent knowing the murderess will shoot her if she gets her gun back, the hit-woman knowing it's a life sentence in a brutal women's prison if she's arrested. Despite the feisty NCIS girl getting the better of the evil bad girl in the struggle, and landing some ferocious blows, the girl crook nearly gets to the gun again, and later still, throws sand in the NCIS girl's face, kicks her away, and scrambles desperately across the beach towards her gun. But dazed by the NCIS agent's blows, and panicking, she stumbles, meaning that while she gets to the gun, the feisty NCIS girl - knowing she only has a split second to act - tackles the bad girl roughly to the sand again. The two women struggle desperately for control of the gun, tangled on the wet sand, as the struggle heads towards its climax.

I would have like the woman in the Ocean Park episode, who was dressed in office clothes, to take off her shoes once she was on the beach and be barefoot on the sand.
The last one (the NCIS episode) was good, but the end is too violent, as I'm not a fan of violence like that. In the story line, the NCIS would not be happy that a women was shot and killed. They wanted her alive, arrested, and sent to jail. It's unclear also from the video when the bad girl was pointing the gun at the NCIS female officer, but it then the bullet fires at the bad girl. Did the NCIS female officer turn the gun around so it was pointing at the bad girl. Very confusing in the last few seconds of the gun fight.
Most important footnote: The NCIS female officer is sexy as hell !!! I'd love to see her in catfights (no gun violence) ;D
This publicity still from the 1958 movie Girls On The Loose shows the good girl and the villainess in a life or death struggle. The blonde heroine has disarmed the murderous gun moll and they're fighting on the floor alongside the stolen money, the villainess desperately reaching for her revolver.

There's a gun struggle catfight in the 1940 crime movie "San Francisco Docks". The killer's wife is armed with a small automatic gun, but freezes with indecision and gets grabbed from behind by the feisty heroine. Twice the bleach blonde bad girl tries to retrieve the gun, but twice she's thwarted by the plucky good girl.
The struggle starts just after the one hour point. The quality of the video is poor, but the fight is quite good, and high stakes, as the heroine is fighting for her life, while the villainess is facing a lengthy prison sentence - possibly even a life sentence - if apprehended.

This isn't exactly a gun struggle catfight, but in this scene from an episode (The Enemy Within) of the original Eighties series of MacGyver, the villainess sees her plans unraveling, and is drawing her gun from her purse, when she's brutally tackled down and disarmed by the feisty good girl - who later knocks the villainess out with her own gun:

There's quite an intense, leggy, rolling, gun struggle catfight in the 1973 movie "The Bamboo House of Dolls". The build-up starts at around 1:38:40 at the link:

There are several different versions of the catfight from the Hart to Hart episode "Max's Waltz" available online, but this one has the clearest picture quality:

I've previously posted the catfight in the old black and white movie "It's a Wonderful World" - not to be confused with "It's a Wonderful Life". The link is now dead, so I'm reposting it here. The catfight starts at 1:23:25.

If you watch it in slow motion, you can better appreciate the villainess's panic when her gun jams, and when the feisty heroine is closing the distance between them. The good girl disarms, overpowers and KO's the villainess, and then sits astride bad girl, who's flat on her back, out cold.
There's a great scene where the villainess is dragged to her feet, dazed and confused, and has a look of absolute despair on her face. I can only imagine her rage and frustration: she had the gun, but got disarmed, overpowered, KO'd, and pinned by the heroine. She's mixed up in at least one murder, so in a few moments she's gone from a position where she was looking at a life of luxury, to where her defeat had condemned her to a life sentence in prison.
Here's an obscure gun struggle from an old TV series called "Not For Hire". The episode is called "The Fall Guy". Watch from around 21 minutes, as a woman is kidnapped, and a little later tangles with the villainess:

<> Sexy trope, when the guys start pairing off and fighting, and the 2 women know it's only a matter of time till they know they will inevitably square up and need to duke it out. Whether they want to or not.
<> Sexy vintage clothes on the women in the clip.
Yes, and gun struggle catfights are high stakes (unlike a tussle over a man): the feisty heroine is likely fighting for her life, given that in most such situations the villainess knows it's a life of luxury if she gets away, but life in prison if she doesn't.
Which other gun struggle fights in this thread do you like, and do you know of any others?

Sexiest Award is a two-way tie:
<> The 1940 "Docks of San Francisco" fight is sexy AF once you factor in the IRL backstory that the two actresses, Irene Hervey and Esther Ralston, had a pre-filming handshake agreement with each other to fight for real so that the scene would be as realistic as possible.
<> The sand which gets on the NCIS fighters is highly effective. More gritty, literally and figuratively, than a mud fight.
I like the Max's Waltz one from Hart to Hart, and the one in It's a Wonderful Life - the heroine KO'ing the villainess and then sitting astride her while the bad girl is out cold is a nice touch.
Not exactly a gun struggle catfight, but a villainess is tackled, disarmed and brutally KOed by the good girl in an episode of "A Man Called Sloane" titled "The Venus Microbe". The good girl is exiting a building with the good guys but stops to fix her shoe, then notices the villainess aiming a gun at the heroes. The feisty heroine tackles her and knocks her out. The camera cuts away, then returns and we see the villainess face down, out cold.

Not exactly a gun struggle catfight, but in the Hart to Hart episode "Rich and Hartless" an armed villainess is pushed to the floor and loses her gun.
