Sorry if this has been asked about before but about 5 years ago a story broke about a guy running a catfight club in Northern Ireland. Apparently videos were for sale. I think when it hit the papers it all went to the wall, but wondered if anyone knows anything about it, or if the videos made are still available somewhere? Perhaps a forlorn hope as I cant find anything online about them https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/catfight-craze-women-filmed-brawling-8488171

Staggering hypocrisy, isn't it? The journalist condemns the DVDs as 'pornographic' but don't men fight wearing even less on TV every day and aren't the fans (male and female) of men's boxing and wrestling turned on in exactly the same way? They may not admit it, but they are. And why, Daily Mirror, an entire page of photos and an article spun out to ten times the necessary length if not to titillate your own readers? In that case aren't you also pornographers? The only difference is that you're hypocrites as well. This type of journalism (which used to be the stock-in-trade of the News of the World) is best described as 'parasite pornography' - the pornography that dares not speak its name. Personally I'd far rather have a pint with the promoter, whoever he is, than the person who wrote that article or the editor who put him up to it.

I think the pics accompanying the article were from Bitchfight, but they had no connection with the organiser of the Belfast fights and dont distribute the Irish videos. I remember the bitchfight people being annoyed their images used without their permission.

I agree, there is a huge amount of hypocrisy in the media. Faux outrage with as you say titillating readers at the same time.

I think i already saw some of their fights... I recognize one of the stages on the photos and i've seen some fights taking place there and other locations that were in the news too. Never liked their content so i never downloaded all of them, just had some but i don't know where they are
The second picture is from a Frank Rusha photo set.
