My guess is that you have a period in your username.
periods aren't allowed in usernames in chat, it should be replaced by a underscore. An admin could change it but then you would need to reset your password before you can log back. Or it may be easier to delete your profile then make a new one with an underscore instead of a period.

Maybe try actually READING my post?
I am an admin but stuff like this is why I am not fond of doing the username change route. You need us to chnage your usedname then you get locked out of your account until you click on the password change email that will be sent out
OR
delete your id
Create one without the damn period in the name such as catfighter_real
