Title: Newbie cry for help
Post by: jessicasinger on September 10, 2010, 06:31:14 AM
Hi, I'm new here.  I really don't know much about catfighting but I started very recently and I really like it.  I wrote all this on my profile... Anyway, I want to make friends who can help me learn more.  I'm really friendly so please, if you have advice or stories that can help me, say hi!

Oh, I should mention.  I'm mostly talking about irl here.  I've only done cyber once and it was hard since I don't know any moves really!  So I'm happy to try it, but with the goal of learning how to actually fight better

Welcome to this forum. I read your profile and there's a world of difference between female vs. female wrestling and catfighting, as I'm sure you must be aware.  In wrestling there are holds and moves.  Catfighting, by its very nature, is two girls or women doing what comes naturally to both fighters.  It's rare IRL to see two women catfighting and using wrestling moves, too.

I saw my mom in a IRL hairpulling catfight with her frenemy and neighbor, Fran.  You can read the account of her fight in the stories section of this forum under the title of "Moms Battle in Hair Wars."  As of this writing, it's on page 22 or you can use the search function by typing in the title.  I know my Mom wouldn't have considered her IRL catfights with Fran "fun".  My guess is you're more interested in wrestling than catfighting, which I hope is the case, because competitive wrestling is the saner alternative.
