a thong is my vote.   I like to think that a the choice of thong says something about you and your opponent. besides they can help keep
you dry.[somewhat].....lol

Depends if your asking about a real fight on the street or an arranged rules style, if a street fight nothing beats jeans you protect legs and other areas, and a  decent top, naturally if a woman out wearing jeans more likely to be a V or scoop or sweet heart cut showing cleavage but if a standard tee it will get rips if not fully a GOOD bra is crucial  , if you mean arranged rules , i prefer lingerie but have done dresses , leggings, bikinis , really comes down to what both agree on over preference but in arranged you need the agility an freedom to move  and move fast.

Arranged nude or same as your opponent agree ahead of time
Spontaneous boots leggings or jeans and a good quality top that is not ripped easy

Mine was arranged catty wrestling in a ring wearing outfits that I wear in my pictures.  Leggings, cutoffs, leather pants with tight toes, thongs underneath usually no bra

My favourite thing is catfighting in a minidress & tights. Usually start in heels  but those come off fairly early on. Don't want broken ankles or to maim each other's legs with our stiletto heels lol
