I have been in a number of polls of the catfight genre, and every so often I would enjoy rereading the more intense and cattier ones. I find it such a shame that when a member leaves , all her contributions vanish. My fights with Renata, Anne Fox, Jolene and Uptown Gwen have all suffered this fate.
Even though I don't consider these polls archival material, it is interesting to see who was cheering for what, and what cliques existed at a point in time. Perhaps what the membership considers the 'better efforts' could be posted as a story so that we would not lose the dialog when members lapse or leave. I hope that old bitch Mauler Maureen doesn't depart, but it would be a shame to lose the history of such a slut.
Maybe I should just accept that I can now post my version of history, and leave it at that. While I had great fun with a lot of polls, even when I lost, I can now have alternative endings that might favor me!
