I just read an article that Halle Berry is making a movie called Bruised in which she plays a female MMA fighter.
She recently got hurt on set filming a fight scene and had to take a week off. So this should be interesting to
watch once it comes out.

Always thought Halle was weak and fragile
I didn't cast the movie. LOL. That said, Halle is a very pretty, athletic and in-shape woman. She pulled off the airplane knife catfight to the death,
killing a convincing evil Rosemund Pike, in Die Another Day. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yJlbyxOHrdI
I willing to consider it could be believable, but we'd have to wait and see.

Interesting, so if you were casting a female MMA fighter. Who would you have picked Jessie?
I think Michelle Rodriguez is a very convincing fight actress. I hate that the movies turns all
on-film fights into martial arts contests, but that is what is easy to choreograph and sell.
I'd like to see Michelle sell herself in a role as a street fighter. I think she would be fabulous.

I never thought of that before. So, that is why so you don't show more old-fashioned traditional cat fights in the movies. I think they would be harder to choreograph, but oh so much hotter! Thanks for sharing that information. And for the record oh, I agree, Michelle would be good in a row like that.
