"First, we shall see the arrangement of all the matches for the first round. For your information, in order to prevent confusion in future rounds, only sixteen of you will be fighting in the first round while the remaining eight will automatically advance to the second round. A bye of sorts..." she shrugged. "Even so, keep in your mind that this is an elimination tournament, where the losers will be taken out of the contest and be punished after their defeat.
