What does everyone feel about a catfight convention event looking at setting one up in the Jacksonville Florida area with VIP access?
Billy its a grand idea but you need to do your homework on this idea, years ago there was a similar convention was held in San diego actually went on fora few years, till the states gaming commission got wind of it(though i think it was more a few people told on them) anyway back then it was more wrestling based as far as the "main rooms" went but many women/couples made private arrangements during these events and met in hotel rooms, it was all fine and well but the problem is, if things aren't agreed on prior and followed to the letter you as the event holder face a lot of backlash.
The con in San Diego had a ton of common people with an interest in the sport /hobby but also big names graced the event venus delight ,quisha so on, the bigger problems arose when the "private matches" behind the scenes took place and a few got hurt or rule matches went to far, if i remember correctly it was shut down for 5 years made a try at a come back 2 years in a row and got no response to the point it fizzled out, but give it a try just make sure you protect yourself and dot the I's and cross the T's and get commitments from the session wrestlers out there to show that will draw the crowds and those who share the hobby/fetish
I think this is very ambitious and hope you're able to make it happen. What are your preliminary thoughts and ideas for this convention?
So far my idea is schedule a fight tournament either one or two days pay the winner a large amount of money. For fans I want to hook them up set a VIP weekend cover their hotel tour VIP after party and maybe a lunch or dinner date with one of the girls and many more things I'm planning of
So yea my team is looking into all the aspects and how we will go about this. Also have fans fully involved
I hope it works out for you. Please keep us updated on your progress.
Will do
Very interesting topic,
There are around 12 live events that I know off here in the UK and I regularly attend them and live events in Germany and the Czech Republic,
I find it unbelievable that there are no live events in a large country like the USA.

I'm curious...
Could you briefly describe them without giving up too much information?
Why isn't this done in the USA? Good question.
I think the real reason would be local police or state gaming commissions. A lot of what goes on at a catfight or wrestling convention could be construed as solicitation or gambling by some. I know it's not, but all it takes is a few people asking questions to screw things up.
There are three ways to do an event like this, and I only think one would work.
First - rent out a large public space and invite vendors to set up and have a ring where women would do their matches. This was tried and did not work... too much up front cost... too visible
Second - get some women to fight in a tourney and charge people $20 or $50 to watch. The purse goes to the winner. The state gaming commission would want a piece of this. With an entrance price that low, you might get spectators who get too rowdy and police are involved. Heck, one person could call the police that isn't even there and break this up. Too risky. Plus, not one is traveling far for this.
Third - This is what I would do. First, I would charge at least $500 per person or couple. If you charge that much, people will travel. Plus, at that price, they are less likely to to get drunk and rowdy and screw things up.
Research an airbnb that has land and has a lot of bedrooms. Start the event on a Friday and end it Sunday evening. The only people who sleep at the airbnb are the session wresters or paid fighters and the organizer. Paying people would need to find their own accommodations. Start with a group dinner on Friday night. Make that more of a social night. No fighting. Create a match card for the next day. If people want to do privates, that can be done in the rooms of the session wresters on site or they could be done back at hotel rooms.
All food and drink are provided at the airbnb. I would say matches start after 1 p.m. on Saturday and a nice dinner would be provided. Sunday morning could have more private matches, but the airbnb would be shutting down.
So for $500 or so, you get a social night to mingle and Saturday would be a full day of action.
I know it's expensive, but this is the way I would do it right.
Oh, no cell phones at all at the venue. They would be checked at the door. The host would create a video of the matches only using people who wanted to be on video.
Atlanta would be the first place I would look at has a hosting city.
Good idea grassland I know I'm contacting local kink clubs in the area since we have two of them. I am looking at attempting to rent out their venue
Cat-Con 2017. :)
The difficult part for us is distance since we will hold this in Florida this will honestly take sometime of planning and lots of asking and receiving of no's. I am in contact with one lady here who owns a kink club and have a meeting with her in July so I have hopes because I'm sure she will listen
As requested here are the live events that I go see here in the UK, Germany and the Czech republic, it must be legal for sure,

This week on Thursday I have a meeting with a venue owner here in Jacksonville let's see how this goes and if all goes well awesome I already have prices locked in and will release more news soon
I got my venue locked in Club Kink Jacksonville the owner provided me a great deal and I am looking at holding the event august 26th. I will provide more imo in the upcoming days
Kudos to you Billy on trying to make this a reality. Hope this is a success for you.
i wish mucho success to all involved. any chance a 2018 event could b held in say Westgate Casino and Convention Center Las Vegas Nv? Save me the gaming/wagering aspects i already get that comparison. billy mayb Oct 2018 in Vegas. If you have a 2018 event in Fla let us kno. Many vendors and fighters i think would come to Vegas.
Now that would be a dream
Best of luck, if you can pull it off, please let me know, I'm close to Jax.
Jackpin Productions ran the one in San Diego. I attended in 1998, it was all top-self, very nice formal dinner on Friday evening, all the wrestlers were totally dolled up. Matches all day Saturday and Sunday. The DWW girls were the best, real hairpulling, clothes-ripping action in the ring. Had a great time and made some great friends.
I understand everything also went well in 1999, although I could not attend. I went back in 2000 and Saturday went well, then Sunday everything was locked down with no explanation.
$150 got you full access, but those were 90's $. I think the biggest challenge is an agreeable venue.
I've been to all of Jackpin's WWCs. I only missed the Friday evening's "Ice breaker" dinner of WWC2000 and its Saturday action as I had some business deals going on at the time. However, I drove to the venue (an hour and a half from my house) on Sunday and enjoyed the action there...it was not locked down!?!
What I noticed was, each time the number of fans got smaller and smaller. Then, Jackpin moved out of San Diego (to East Coast?). In 2002, Tweety's husband Tom organized the FFE (Female Fighting Expo) with a similar format in Pasadena. Some of the girls' hanging out of the venue in skimpy outfits drew the attention of Pasadena PD. A couple of cops came in and observed what was going on about 15 minutes...there was no prostitution, no nudity...they shut it down because the number of people over exceeded the capacity allowed for that hall by the fire department. This convention attracted the largest crowd I have ever seen at such an event. Over 200 tickets had already been sold prior to the event day and while the cops were checking around, there were still fans waiting in line to buy tickets at the door.
Jackpin came back to San Diego and organized WWC once again in 2008. Ticket cost $250. This event was so poorly attended that I heard he lost money. On Saturday (the busiest day) I counted around 40 spectators...I'm not even sure if all of them were paying fans...Jackpin had family, friends, and volunteers helping throughout the event.
Right after that event, he announced on his Yahoo group that he would organize another WWC within a couple of months if 300 people bought tickets. Then he went down to 200 tickets, then he did some opinion surveys such as; whether it should be held in Vegas or San Diego, on a cruise ship etc.
The reason why there aren't live events in the U.S. is the lack of interest by the FvsF fans...not due to some jealous or prudent idiots. Unless you are doing something illegal why would you worry about those jerks? If there is demand for something, there is always a market for it.
I wish the best of luck to those who are planning a female wrestling convention.
