How will the Westerners fare when they challenge the champions" The trailer looks interesting. I for one will definately be tuning in. Hope it's not a dissapointment

Not a bad programme at all. Just a pity it was only the tribeswomen who went topless and not the Brit girls who fought in bikinis. Well worth a watch if you missed it when it's repeated
yes totally agree - shame the brit girls didnt fight topless as well. One is called Natalie from Newcastle and she is a dead ringer for the Natalie who fights for Bitchfight - wonder if its her? Anyway well worth a watch on a dull Tuesday night!

Just watched this on i player. Although it did show women in aggressive action the actual bouts were so short as they were decided by lifting your opponents leg, throwing her to the ground, or managing to get behind her and press your chest against her back. Most bouts consisted of the women struggling while holding each others necks while bent forward facing each other. The dirty tactics consisted of hair pulling and head butting by one of the Amazon women. Hair pulling is even normal up the Amazon. I know everyone likes different aspects of women wrestling but even when two native women wrestled topless the style of the match never allowed for breasts to be matched together. Also never were the women able to lock up and really struggle which I, perhaps alone, find so sexy a sight when ladies wrestle.
