After joining some sites/forums involving celebrity MMA matches that died after a few weeks, I decided to create my own forum with a different setup.
One that hopefully can last longer than previous sites. Since I am running things alone at the moment, I want to start with 10 managers (7 spots open) and if things go well for the first month, more manager spots will open. All the details can be found on the forum.
My approach for this is more a game like approach, were your fighter will improve over time. So don't worry about stats not being like how they might be in real life.
Fights will be done in the Ultimate MMA Simulator 2.0.7 and maybe main event fights will be more story wise.
If you are interested take a look at: http://ultimatecelebrityfc.proboards.com/
If the forum is succesful, maybe I will consider creating a website as well.
If enough people join soon, we might have a Halloween tournament.
Can we choose any celeb we want?
Pretty much as long as they are within these weight limits.
Strawweight fighters are up to 117lb - 53kg
Bantamweight fighters are till 141lb - 64kg
I'll join. I'm sure you remember me from previous sites.

For me personally, it's too technical. I want to be creative with some individual ideas and expressions in form of literature, and avoid repetitive simulators.

Impossible to please everyone and I know this isn't for everyone.
To run something like this purely with literature you would need a team of 50+ writers.
Even with writers it would become repetitive, simply because of sport rules.
