Like I told my wife, my ultimate fantasy would be to see her wrestle her twin sister. But because she doesn't have a sister, let alone a twin, that's totally impossible. My wife fights (mainly boxing). She has both won and lost fights. IRL I always want her to win and it's terrifying to see her lose, especially when you don't know if she's going to be seriously hurt. However, if pictures or videos are taken of the fight, I get the most excitement from watching fights where she is losing. That's a secret I keep from my wife because I know she wouldn't understand.
For example: A match in front of a large paying (and blood-thirsty audience). Both women are wearing very short boxing trunks split up the side of the leg and leather type protective bras and fight barefoot. They are equally matched in boxing skills and punching power, except my wife's opponent is more skilled in defense. She blocks telegraphed punches, and effectively moves her head to counter the effectiveness of blows. By round three she is still fresh and my wife is getting pummeled more and more. The crowd on the other side of the ring starts to cheer after her opponent lands a right cross to my wife's head and my wife retreats to the ropes right over me. Then I see the blood on her opponent's right boxing glove. My wife is cut but I can't tell where because her back is to me. I'm screaming "get off the ropes" as she takes some vicious shots. She goes down from the onslaught and turns to face me as she's climbing the ropes to get back up. Her left eye is cut! A small cut just below the eyebrow on the side but it's bleeding a lot. A stream of blood has already trickled down to her jaw. Our eyes meet and I grab for the towel. She shakes her head no and I let the fight continue. The worst part? Rules for the fight were you had to remove your bra if you got knocked down. She would fight topless from now on and there was over a minute left in the round...
Is it too morbid to admit that your fantasy opponent is someone who has now passed away? Always wanted to take on Annette Funicello in a beach party catfight.
