Nice work! Being unfamiliar with smart phones I don't know how you draw on them. Is it an app where you use your finger to draw?
My ignorance on this subject made me think of a thread I started, where I uploaded an example of how I'd used an image editor on a hand drawing in a style I not done before, you can see it here, http://www.freecatfights.com/forums/index.php/topic,48807.0.html I wondered if you'd like to post on that thread and describe how you create pictures like your avatar, and maybe other artists could contribute, saying how they create art and giving examples. I don't know if it would catch on, but I think it's worth a try.
