Hey so i keep hearing about this free catfight site Blacksissy.com. the name turns me off plus I'm afraid of getting a virus from this unheard of web site. I'm got no virus protection on my Pc. Has anyone used this site before can you tell me if it's safe. And if the videos are really 100% free to watch.
I cant tell you about the website but i would strongly recommend you get antivirus protection and a firewall for your pc. There are plenty of free programs that work very good Advast and AVG are two of the best of the free antivirus.

The antivirus software suggested was free. Plus going to us and asking "So you want to see if this website is filled with viruses for me? " is not an entertaining proposal :)
This conversation reminds me of when my mother would say, as she handed me the milk carton, "Jim I think this milk has gone bad, have a taste and tell me what you think."
Ah mothers, keeping therapist in sports cars for decades. Jimbo

I'm not going to check out the website. If you really want to check it out then download one of the
FREE antivirus software that i mentioned. And please stop asking for someone to check out the site for you.
*sighs* Does noone here have working antivirus software?! Geeeez! Prepare yourself, guys and girls!! lol
So, as a girl with proper antivirus software (I even pay for it, can you believe that?! ;) ) I checked out this site and it seems to be fine and virus-free. Just gotta go through lots and lots of pop-up ads when trying to watch the videos (and please, don't type any of your data into the popups? And click the right part of the video to watch it!)
But yeah, it's a clean site
I agree with Lisa. The website needs to get rid of the pop-ups.
Well i have functioning anti virus, but I also had friends who used to test viruses by sending people to sites with the virus and see if the anti virus detected it ;) Maybe the pop up are where it is hidden if there is any. Just be careful where you click..
Meg, I did a check for the viruses and results were clean. But you are right about the virus might be in the pop-ups.
As an IT professional, please get an Antivirus Program. The below are all free.
PC Users - Microsoft Security Essentials http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/security-essentials-download (If you're not using 8, 8 comes with AV built in)
Mac Users - ClamX http://www.clamxav.com/
For browsing, I use Chrome and the AdBlock Plus extension https://adblockplus.org/en/chrome . It helps keep out annoying pop ups.
Please please please don't think that just by avoiding "bad" or "sketchy" websites. Websites get hacked all the time and you'll never hear them admit it because they don't want Google to blacklist them. Some of the worst hacks in the past 10 years have been to sites like Sony.com or NBC.com and others. It's best to be proactive out there.
