Title: Real feuds make interesting catfights.
Post by: East Coast Cats on April 17, 2014, 07:33:00 PM
We've now filmed over 120 catfights at ECC. One thing that's very clear is that some of the more interesting fights are between ladies who did not care for each other. I can give you several examples of ladies who fought each other one time,  but ones that generated rematches were Lori vs Michelle and Michelle vs Irish. Next week another rematch will occur between two who aren't exactly fond of each other...Sasha vs Jean. They fought for the first time just two weeks ago and both wanted to try it again next week. It should be interesting.  Jean/black & white pic...Sasha/red

Would love to hear some of the trash talk between these two beauties.

John told me today that it was because of Sasha's fighting style. If anyone has seen Sasha's fight with Michelle the same thing happened. Michelle said Sasha bit her, and head butted her, lol.  Sasha even said after the Michelle fight that she likes to fight dirty. Apparently she tried some of that with Jean.  I bet Jean wants to kick her ass in the rematch.

Love to see Kristin get Sasha. Kristin loves face slapping, and I bet she'd tear up Sasha.

you do fight to win and if it takes "dirty fighting" that what it takes.

I've asked him what dirty tactic Sasha used against Jean. Maybe she bit her too, lol.

If you talking about fighting to settle some personal issue or defend yourself from attack, or if you are a boxer or MMA fighter whose career and future earnings depend upon winning or losing then yes, that's true.
But studio catfights are different. They are filmed for one reason only - to turn on fans like us.
John, the ECC producer, has said many times at his yahoo group that he tells the ladies before they fight that whether they win or lose is not important - just that they try their best.
Personally, the ones who take that to heart and behave accordingly are the ones I enjoy watching the most. I just find the fights a lot sexier if the girls are not so scared of losing that they resort to tactics like biting and scratching in order to gain an advantage.
Each to their own taste though, I guess. Some fans are turned on by stuff like that, and nobody is going to end up in the hospital after fighting for John. Though I have seen one fight in which somebody would have, if her opponent had been as nasty as she was.

I do realize there r rules but at times rules can b bent, stretched, broken. my x has told me many times there is "nothing dirty" in a catfight. the girls figure it out.

I understand what you mean. But it depends what kind of catfight you are talking about. And if the girls can't figure it out - in other words, if one is ok about breaking or bending the rules and the other one isn't, then it's not a fair fight and somebody could end up getting injured.

Sasha is a different breed of cat, she even smiles when she fights.  Jean has improved as a fighter, and I think she's really looking forward to their rematch.

Jean and Sasha fought Wednesday of this week. There is no love lost between these two and made this rematch one of the wildest fights we've filmed. Expect to see this fight a lot sooner than the normal release period.

Very intense fight. Anger, bitchtalking, hard slapping, one using dirty tactics//close fight, but one wins in the end.

I believe Sasha vs Jean's 1st fight will be #92, and we should release #90 in about two weeks. The reasons we filmed the rematch were the first one was close, hard fought and both wanted to fight each other again.

Michelle's 3rd fight with lori and the re-match with Irish are 2 of my favorites. She didn't like either of them and they don't like her. Will there be a re-match with Michelle and Sasha?

Michelle is dealing with a bad back, but hopes to return soon. Sasha would fight her again.

That's good. I would love to see a 3rd between Michelle and Irish also.

What did Sasha do that was dirty fighting?
Sasha scratches especially when locked in close with an opponent. She's been told not to, but has done it in more than one fight.  She also bit Jean on the arm, something she did to Michelle in an earlier fight. We allow wrestling, hairpulling and slapping to body and face.  Sasha is fighting again soon and we'll see if she can stick to the rules.

If she keeps doing it, are you still gonna let her compete w/you guys? I know it can create intense battles to be sure, but she would seem to be a liability at some point if she is out to hurt her opponents like this. You do want those that compete with you to be safe and what have you I would imagine.

Obviously, I haven't seen either of Sasha's fights with Jean yet. But based upon what I saw of her vs  Michelle, I'd say that when it comes to dirty tactics,  Sasha's bark is worse than her bite. [Sorry, I just couldn't resist that]
Women usually wear their finger nails long, compared to men. When they grab an opponent in a fight, especially if the opponent is pulling away because she doesn't want to be grabbed, scratches can happen.
If a girl is fighting hard, mouth open to suck in oxygen, and she closes her mouth when the other lady clamps an arm or leg across her face, and maybe has a little nibble at the offending appendage – well, that's biting, I guess, but it's not like Tyson vs Holyfield.
That was the kind of thing Sasha was doing with Michelle. At least, that's what it looked like to me, so I wouldn't class Sasha as a liability.
Blair, who fought Irish, definitely was. If I was a producer, I wouldn't touch her again with a barge-pole.

Sasha scratched Jean in their first fight, and did even more of it in their second fight. It was intentional, and she's making it difficult to film her again. She's basically a good kid with a strong temper.

Hasn't done much good then? Perhaps she needs an ultimatum? That is to say....if she knew that if she didn't behave herself next time out she wasn't gonna be brought back maybe then she'd change?
Hardly worded as questions.  I think the producer knows how to handle the situation.
