The chat room feels like it's running game on technology from the 1990s! Isn't there something that can be done?
It is a flash based web chat so you might want to make sure your flash player is up to date. Some have also found using other browsers work (I have good results on chrome and Explorer with two different computers so can't really recommend one ). And if your technology is from turn on the century it won't help much either.

My flash player is up to date as is my computer...It seems that when more than 35 or so people enter the room it slows WAY down and then freezes and "kicks people out". I'm hardly the only one this happens to as I'm sure you are aware Nutmeg. There are many flash based chat rooms that handle far more than 50 people without freezing up...perhaps it's time to put a little of that ad money towards an upgrade?? Just a thought

Here is another thought. Maybe providing an idea what version of flash chat said rooms that work so well are using rather than just bitching in general? I know actually saying something helpful and not just angry snark likely isn't in your wheelhouse, but do try. Just saying there is something better and walking off like we should all know magically is not exactly helpful.
