usually it is the senior girls vs the junior girls from the same school playing each other. does anyone know of the senior/junior girls from 1 high school vs the senior/junior girls from another high school? i am sure that could/does get interesting. i was directed to a powder puff game between 2 high schools in MI,Regina vs Marian, as my reference for this question.
Ava, sophomores got to play? good for your class!!
DIGRESSING a bit my x told me, as i watch the regina vs marian game, there is always holding or grabbing on every play. its just the nature of powder puff. as she said in college ppf they just let up play tackle. and it was hard in the final game, championship,as it was the only game of the year, we could/did not tackle each other.
not really any fights a lot of trash talk though. in the regina-marian i did not expect to c any fights during the game or really hard hits, hey its non tackle flag, as i have seen in college sorority games.
Having played basketball in high school....and because i was tall I played power forward.....I can safely say while its not football....girls grab just about anything they can to gain an advantage..
I lost track of the elbows and punches I took....usually from some short little point guard......I was known to throw an occasion elbow and punch if I knew a referee wasn't looking.
Sometimes it could escalate.....I found as athletes we were every bit as competitive as the boys were and we did what we had to do....
