Title: Accepting Buddies
Post by: GoldenGirl on December 29, 2012, 08:35:35 PM
I've noticed something strange whilst responding to requests from would-be buddies.

Where the request comes from someone with a SPECIFIC name, there is no problem. They appear on my profile, and there is a similar entry on their profile.

However, when the request comes from someone named "Guest", they appear only on my profile - there is no corresponding entry for me on their profile.

Could anyone explain this enigma, please?

I assume because guest is generic. I never knew Guest could request buddies.

Ah, that could explain it. Thank you.

Golden Girl;

Some times when members send you request. They drop or leave their own membership before you maybe approve or see it.

When they vacate their membership, for whatever reason. It reverts back to guest status, instead of who the person is.
You will also see this on profile posts now and then as well.

Storm,
