Hello all
Have thought a lot about creating this , but at least i thought it was a good idea to keep my friends informed.
Most know that i have had cancer on my vocalcord last year in feb. Thought all was gone over a year.
But bad news. After the last control check , the cancer comes back.
Have had a suggery at april and today i get the bad results. Will go to hospital at 08 May and they will remove a big part from my left vocalcord.
But there is a good chance that all is well after this.
I will keep you informed in this thread how it goes.
And the most important "I THINK POSITIVE"

Jurgen......this year i had a hip replacememt go bad when it.got.infected and the road back to health has been long and stressful.....just when i am feeling sorry for myself i read about a gent like you locked in a battle with cancer and suddenly my problems seem to pale in comparrison.....thanks for sharing your battle with us as your courage inspires me to buck up and count my blessings......God Be With You as you continue the fight......and.know you are a courageous man who inspires....... ;)

After my recent event in hospital (I returned home late last night) you are very much in my thoughts and prayers. Please stay positive. Life has a habit of throwing unexpected curveballs but the body is an amazing machine and medicine / science today is truely amazing, and provided you stay positiive, you should have half the battle won.

First of all , Thank you all very much to all posts and wishes here.
This counts a lot to me.
Now the bad news. All sugggery dates are cancelled. The docs will have first a CT before they make this suggery :(
(Why don't they know this before they give me the date for my suggery and invite me to hospital GRRRR)
Will leave the hospital today without anything was done :(
Next dates are CT at 14 may and suggery then on 21 may.

Best of luck J. In the last 5 years my mother in law had breast cancer (won!), I lost one of the sweetest cats I've ever had in the space of weeks, My Mother died of leukemia, a very close friend of mine in the community and my de-facto editor is fighting, and today I just learned that a very old and dear friend is confirmed with breast cancer.

Have had my surgery now . Feeling a bit weak but ok so far.
My voice is gone for the moment, or better said very silent and raucous (Some ppl like to see my quiet Lol)
But all was good so far. Have to wait now for the results of the pathologie now to see that all off the tumor is removed from my vocalcord.

My left vocal fold is removed complete now. So i think its stopping with singing at Got talent , or other castingshows

I get the results of histologie at 31 May. Sure they they have removed all of the cancer but i cross my fingers.
I am at home now and take a rest to recover. My world arround me is happy . No comments from me at moment.

Get today the results of the pathology.
It was a malignant tumor again :(
But the docs are sure that they have removed all. So there is no chemo need until now (Fingers crossed)
Next date for controll in hospital in 8 weeks.
Still pain if i speak but this will be gone in the near future.

GOOD NEWS. Nothing is found . YEAH . Only a big scarf on my vocal fold that handicaps my voice. But this is thing i can live with.

Well, the result is , ITS NOT COMING BACK :D
My throat is still cancer free.

I am still cancerfree. Next checkup is on 14, oct 2013. I will keep you all informed.
Yesterday was a sad day. My dog is gone to valhalla. Ofter some weeks in which he was sick he get yesterday 18 sep 2013 the final injection.
The vet says that this was the best way for him. All other will be weeks of pain for him.
I am very sad about this loss. He was a family member. R.I.P.

To my wonderful friend and Tag Team Partner Jurgens,
I am very sad to hear about your dog....being a huge dog lover...as you can see by the pics of my dog on my profile.....I know the real pain that can bring when we lose them. When I lost my little pekinese Tiffany 3 and a half years ago.....I was devastated. She had been with me 13 years...through college....and starting out in business. She was 10 pounds of pure cuteness and love....and so smart I swear she could almost talk. She always knew my moods...when I was happy....and when I was sad....and she always knew what to do to make me feel great. She followed me around the world and back home and not a day goes by I don't miss her. But 3 years ago I found a new dog....my Shi Tzu.....Carly....and I fell in love all over again. Her big dark eyes and silly face got to me and hooked me solid for life. I didn't think it was possible but I have now learned the true love a dog can bring into a person's life....all over again.
Give it some time....and another will walk into your life...and please allow yourself to give it all the love and attention you did the last one. I promise you...it will be so very much worth it.

Will short inform you, that i have had my next checkup today.
NO new cancer found. Yay. But i have a big scar on my vocal cord and it must be removed the next time.I am not sure when i will do this surgery.
But i will keep you informed

There are some news from my last checkup at 13 Jan. The cancer didn't come back but the scar on the vocal cord will be removed now in Feb. I go i hospital on 5 Feb and the surgery is at 06 Feb.
I will keep you informed how it works ( And how my voice sounds after this surgery Lol)

A short update from me now.
The surgery at 06 feb went well, I can better breath now and my voice sounds better. But i have another surgery at the 19 feb and have then also to stay some days in hospital.
So far , i feel well. And you all know my rule. STAY POSITIVE.

Thanks a lot for all this lind words here. This counts a lot to me.
I am out of hospital since saturday. The surgery went not so well as the last one on the 6 th feb . There was a swelling on one vocal cord left after the surgery . But it becomes slower from day to day and now i can breath free and my voice becomes better from day to day. It sounds husky but its loud enough to have a good conversation. And i am not anymore exhausted after two sentences.
I feel better from day to day. And the best news was that there was no new cancer :D :D
But my real life takes all my time at moment so i am not often online at moment. This will becomes better after May this year. Then i have more time to go online.

Well my friends. I have bad news. If got a phone call on friday from the hospital. They have resumed the last info that there is no cancer found. (The bloodtests was ok)
The pathologie have send them a last after surgery report to them and in the pathologie they have found some cancer cells in the removed part from the scar. Believe me, at moment my emotions and feelings are driving rollercoaster with me.
I will have an interview on monday in the hospital what we do next. I hope that there are only some cells cause they haven't found a tumour during the surgery.
Believe my, i will not lost my positive thoughts and i will stay strong during this time. Thumbs up. I know that this is 50 % of the healing.
I guess a new surgery will follow the next weeks. Well its routine for me meanwhile . But to be sure i have to wait until monday.

While the news isn't the best....as you have aought me now over the last year......we have to remain positive under every circumstance........it is so very important.
With my Mom in some remission now.....and being so happy because of that.....to hear your news makes me very sad

Here is a short update after my last surgery.
The surgery went well so far, it was a bit longer than normal cause they have taken some more parts to test them.
I haven't get any results until now. I will get them at 1st of April (No this isn't a joke)
The CT was good, there was no tumor shown, not in throat or in the area arround. Also nothing in the lungs.
So i stay positiv, And if there is again a surgery needed, i will take it like a fighter.
On the otherside i have a lot of RL stuff to do arround. Guess i will have more time online after the end of may.
So far this short update.
Believe me. I will be back and i will win this fight against the big C

I have really good news. I have got the results from the pathology today and YESSSSSS There where no new cancer cells found in my throat after the last surgery. YAY
So i have won another battle against the Big C and so its 3-0 for me now. I know that this are only some battles in this war, but so far i am cancerfree and that is the most important fact.
The cancer must be defeated now. Still positive thinking :D :D :D

The relief I feel on hearing your great news makes any bad news I may receive lessen in its impact. To know that my good friend has once again won another fight is as good as it gets.

I am sorry that i write so late again but i have some health issues and was not in the mood to go here.
Well. The cancer is back and i have had some more surgerys. Now is planned to remove my layrinx cause i have now laryngeal cancer.
Its planned to have the surgery this month.
I look optimistic to it, cause with this step all parts with cancer should be removed.
It will take some time but i am sure i will be able to speak again after some weeks.
So far i don't stop fighting against cancer.

My larynx is history now. I have some good days and also some bad days since the surgery. I am back home now. I am able to handle my life by myself, can speak (Not every time but often) But this needs lots of training.

Mein Vater starb vor zwei Monaten an einem Herzstillstand beim Schlafen, meine Mutter gestern an einem schweren Schlaganfall und ist friedlich und schmerzfrei eingeschlafen.
Ich selbst hab leider auch schon ein paar Problemchen hier und da.
Daher kann ich dir voll und ganz Mut machen: Egal wie sehr du es auch hinter dir haben willst und evtl. schon auf dumme Ideen gekommen bist, wenn du du das hier lesen kannst heiß es dass du nicht aufgegeben hast.
Alle wünschen dir das beste und reden davon, dass sie im Gedanken bei dir sind, ich schließe mich da auch voll und ganz an: Bleib am Ball, egal wie besch.ssen es ist, du bist nicht allein auf der Welt und stehst es auch nicht alleine durch.

My father died two moths ago of asystolia while sleeping, my mother died yesterday because of a heavy stroke and fell asleep peacefully and painless.
For me I also have some problems growing.
So i defenitively can bolster you up: no matter how strong you want it to be over and maybe have some stupid ideas growing, when you can read this it means you haven't given up yet.
Everyone is wishing you best and talking about thinking of you so I will entirely join them: just keep trying no matter how difficult it is, you're not alone on this world and not alone in your fight.

Thanks a lot for showing interest :D This counts a lot to me so i will give you all a short update about my situation.
My healing makes good steps forward. But everytime when i make 3 steps forward i make also one back. But in summery i move forward and this is what counts.
I am back at work now, but only 2 hours per day. But i have something to do and this is importent.
Have some troube with the removed lymphnods and other things.
And at moment not in mood for cyberfighting ;) But i am sure that the mood will come back sometimes ;)
I appoligize that i have been silent so long and promise that i will be here more often in te near future.
